How to Make a Windows Bootable USB Drive

There are many ways to make a Windows 10 bootable USB Drive, but now we will make it bootable using Rufus.!

Rufus is one of the main choices for Windows users when they want to make a Windows 10 bootable USB Drive, because besides being easy - the process is also quite fast.

Preparation

There are a number of things you need to prepare before creating a bootable USB 10 USB disk, namely:

1. The latest Windows 10 ISO file

You can download the latest ISO Update file through the Media Creation Tool or directly through the official Microsoft website. I strongly recommend these two methods because of the ISO source directly from the Microsoft server.

To download the ISO file through the Media Creation Tool, please open another guide at the link provided.

2. Drive USB

Of course because you want to make a bootable Windows USB Drive, then prepare a USB drive in good condition. I suggest you use a USB Drive with a minimum capacity of 8GB.

3. RUFUS

Because here you will use Rufus as a tool to create a bootable installer, then download Rufus here:

If all of the above preparations have been completed, then it's time to start making the Windows 10 installer bootable on the USB Drive.

1. First, just plug in the USB Drive on your PC / Laptop.

2. After that, open Rufus.

2. Please make the configuration as below, then you can just enter the Windows 10 ISO file that you have, and Start.

For other versions of RUFUS ... sometimes it has a different appearance, but has the same function.

3. Wait until the process is complete.

4. If all processes are complete, your USB drive will contain files like this.

This means that your USB Drive is ready to be used to install the PC.
